About Our Alvin, TX Certified Chimney Sweeps

We are a local Alvin, TX team of CSIA-certified (Chimney Safety Institute of America) technicians. Our job is to protect your family from chimney fires. We provide a "no-mess, no-stress" chimney sweep, using professional-grade vacuums and brushes to keep your home spotless. Every cleaning comes with a safety inspection.

The #1 Danger: Creosote Buildup

Every time you burn a fire, you create "creosote."

• What is it? It's the unburnt, tar-like byproduct of wood smoke. It sticks to the inside of your chimney liner.
• Why is it dangerous? It is highly flammable. All it takes is a single hot ember to ignite the creosote, starting a violent chimney fire that can spread to the rest of your home.
• Our Solution: Our professional cleaning process uses specialized brushes to scrub the flue from top to bottom, removing this dangerous fuel source.

The "No-Mess" Chimney Sweep Process

We know your biggest fear is a sooty mess. Here is our guarantee:

• We lay down tarps and drop cloths in front of your fireplace.
• We use a high-powered, HEPA-filter vacuum system to create a "negative pressure," so all the soot and dust is pulled into our vacuum, not into your room.
• We use a system of flexible, rotating brushes to scrub the entire flue.
• We clean the smoke shelf, damper, and firebox.
• We leave your home cleaner than we found it.

Frequently Asked Questions

• How often do I need to get my chimney swept? The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) states that all chimneys should be inspected and cleaned at least once per year.
• I have a gas fireplace. Do I need this? You don't get creosote, but you still need an annual inspection. Birds can build nests in the flue, and a blockage can cause dangerous carbon monoxide to vent back into your home.
• I only use my fireplace a few times a year. Am I good? Even a few fires can create a dangerous "glazed" creosote, especially if you burn unseasoned wood. The "once-a-year" rule is for safety, regardless of use.
• What about chimney "cleaning logs"? These logs are a supplement, not a substitute. They can help reduce some (not all) creosote but cannot replace a physical, professional scrubbing.
